Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

1. Introduction

POPilot ("we," "our," or "us") is an inventory planning and purchase-order decision tool for Amazon FBA sellers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our service at getpopilot.com. Please read this policy carefully. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of the service.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including your email address and account profile information when you register. Authentication information is handled through our authentication provider.

We also collect business-planning information that you enter into POPilot, such as supplier lead times, minimum order quantities, unit costs, freight estimates, deposit terms, inventory-funding limits, and reserve-floor preferences.

With your authorization, POPilot accesses data from your Amazon selling account through Amazon's Selling Partner API (SP-API). Depending on the permissions you grant and the features you use, this may include FBA inventory levels, AWD inventory, inbound and fulfillment-status data, SKU and ASIN information, and order-history data used to calculate sales velocity.

POPilot does not request access to Amazon customer personal information for its inventory-planning features.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, secure, and improve POPilot.

This includes using your authorized Amazon data and planning settings to calculate projected inventory coverage, identify reorder timing, generate purchase-order recommendations, recommend order quantities, display inventory-verification information, and evaluate an order against a user-configured inventory funding pool.

We may use your email address to send service-related communications, including account notices, security messages, synchronization notices, and important product updates.

4. Amazon data usage

POPilot accesses Amazon data through Amazon's official Selling Partner API after you authorize the connection.

We request only the permissions needed to provide POPilot's inventory-planning and purchase-order decision features. Amazon data is used solely to provide and support the POPilot service.

POPilot does not sell Amazon data, use it for advertising, or share it with advertisers. We do not use Amazon data to modify your listings, pricing, inventory, or purchase orders.

Limited service providers may process Amazon data when necessary to host, secure, maintain, or operate POPilot, as described in this Privacy Policy.

5. Data storage and security

POPilot uses service providers, including Supabase, for database and authentication infrastructure.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted connections, authentication controls, access restrictions, and separation of organization data.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. Although we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data retention

We retain account and service data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide POPilot, maintain required business and security records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting support@getpopilot.com. Subject to legal and operational requirements, we will process verified deletion requests within 30 days.

7. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information or Amazon data.

We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate POPilot, such as hosting, database, authentication, monitoring, email, and security providers. These providers may process information only as necessary to perform services for POPilot and are expected to protect that information appropriately.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, to protect our legal rights, or to protect the safety and security of POPilot and its users.

8. Your choices and rights

You may access and update certain account or business-planning information through POPilot.

You may disconnect your Amazon selling account through POPilot's Settings page or revoke POPilot's authorization through Amazon Seller Central. Disconnecting or revoking authorization prevents future API access but may not automatically delete information already stored by POPilot.

To request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal information, contact support@getpopilot.com.

9. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to maintain authentication sessions, protect accounts, remember essential preferences, and provide core product functionality.

POPilot does not use third-party advertising cookies. Disabling essential cookies may prevent you from signing in or using certain parts of the service.

10. Children's privacy

POPilot is intended for business users and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to POPilot, contact us at support@getpopilot.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page.

We may also provide additional notice when changes are material. Continued use of POPilot after an updated policy becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
