Frequently asked questions
Answers to common product, inventory, and account questions.
What data does POPilot access from my Amazon account?
POPilot accesses the Amazon seller data needed for its inventory-planning features. This may include FBA inventory levels, AWD inventory, inbound and fulfillment-status data, SKU and ASIN information, and order history used to calculate sales velocity. POPilot does not place orders, change listings or pricing, or access customer personal information for these features. Limited infrastructure providers may process data as described in the Privacy Policy.
How often does POPilot sync my data?
POPilot runs a scheduled daily synchronization. You can also trigger a manual synchronization from your dashboard using the Sync now button.
How does POPilot decide when to recommend placing a PO?
POPilot calculates projected days of cover by simulating when each inventory bucket is expected to become available. This may include FBA sellable units, FC processing units, AWD buffer stock, FC transfer inventory, and inbound shipments. It compares the projection with your supplier lead time, safety-stock setting, target coverage, and current sales velocity.
Why is my POPilot recommendation different from what Seller Central shows?
Amazon may display inventory across several fulfillment statuses. POPilot separates inventory that is sellable now from inventory that may become available later, such as FC processing, FC transfer, AWD, or inbound inventory. POPilot then applies your planning settings to produce a timing-aware recommendation.
Does POPilot support Amazon AWD?
Yes. POPilot tracks AWD inventory separately from FBA sellable units and considers expected AWD transfer timing when calculating projected inventory coverage and FBA/AWD allocation recommendations.
What is the inventory funding pool and how does it work?
The inventory funding pool is the amount you configure as available for purchasing inventory. POPilot subtracts your reserve floor to estimate the amount deployable for purchase orders. When an order may exceed the deployable amount, POPilot displays a funding-limit warning for your review.
Why does POPilot show a lower immediately sellable unit count than Amazon?
POPilot uses FBA sellable inventory when measuring immediate availability. Inventory in FC processing, FC transfer, AWD, inbound, reserved, or other temporary statuses may be displayed separately because it is not immediately sellable.
Can I connect multiple Amazon accounts?
POPilot currently supports one Amazon seller account per workspace. Additional account support may be introduced in the future.
Does POPilot place purchase orders automatically?
No. POPilot provides inventory analytics, timing-aware purchase-order recommendations, projected-cover calculations, and planning support. It does not submit purchase orders or make purchasing decisions on your behalf.
What should I include when I contact support?
For faster assistance, include your POPilot account email, the affected SKU or ASIN, a description of the issue, and a screenshot when the issue relates to inventory, synchronization, verification, or recommendations.
